Our goal at Retina of Auburn & Metro-Columbus is to assist you in preserving and improving central and peripheral vision as much and as long as possible regardless of your age, other medical conditions, and your working status.
Ram Peddada, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained retina specialist with many years of experience in treating retinal diseases. Dr. Peddada’s experience includes treatment of vitreoretinal conditions such as retinal tears, retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane, vitreomacular traction, macular hole, vitreous debris, dry and wet age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vasculitis, vascular occlusions, uveitis, choroidal lesions, and endophthalmitis.
We reviewed our surgical outcome data to predict the degree of visual acuity improvement based on the pre-operative visual acuity.
We are developing a new technique based on angiogram studies to assess why some eyes seem to respond more readily to treatment than others. Work is ongoing to provide clinical value to these methods.
